On Saturday (the 18th), I passed the 5,000 mile mark since “completing” the Mustang last year.

The day before that, Friday, I had the opportunity to take my car to the Kansas Speedway and actually drive it around the track. My dad has season tickets, and it’s something new they offered to season ticket holders this year. I was able to do about 8 laps. It was pretty fun—driving on the banking is really interesting, since it’s 17-20 degrees in the turns. It takes awhile to start getting used to it. The last time I went out, I remembered about the windshield mount I have for my phone, so I was able to make a video of my last 3 laps. The mount got in the way and it’s far from great quality, but it worked.
