I ended up having another problem with the Mustang on my way to work today. :/ One of my shift rods apparently lost the cotter pin on the part that connects to the shifter. The back part of it then fell out of the shifter while I was on the highway, and I got stuck in 3rd gear. Thankfully the front part stayed in and I didn’t completely lose the rod. I made it to my exit, pulled onto the shoulder, jacked it up, and put it back together. Luckily, I had some spare cotter pins in my trunk. All in all, not a horrible thing, but a little annoying haha. Make sure to check your cotter pins regularly…
